Ingredients

  • 1 chicken cube
  • Half cup of plain flour
  • Half cup of corn flour
  • 5 eggs
  • One and half tbsp of mustard powder and baking powder each
  • 5 chicken fillets
  • Iceberg lettuce 5-6 leaves
  • Hot sauce, mayonnaise and salt as required
  • Buns 5-6
  • Oil as required
  • 5-6 cheese slices
  • Milk one cup or 250ml
  • 1-2 tbsp of sugar and white pepper each

Method/ instructions

  1. Take a bowl and whip eggs and set aside. Take flour in another bowl and crumble chicken cubes in it and then mix dry ingredients in it( mix well)
  2. Now dip these pieces of chicken in the whipped eggs for 2-3 times.
  3. Fry chicken til it gets brown
  4. Cut the buns into two and toast both inner sides and pour milk and mayonnaise over them.
  5. Place chicken pieces evenly between the two pieces of buns and pour hit sauce. 
  6. At last! Put iceberg lettuce and cheese and close the bun. Bravo! Enjoy your zinger with a coca-cola..

1) classical/Desi Spaghetti

Spaghetti is a pasta in the form of long strings. Whether you are to cook or want to learn, you can make it more delicious by following this recipe step by step.                           

Ingredients

  • 400g of spaghetti or 3/4th of a 500g pack
  • 1onion(medium)
  • 3 garlic cloves(crushed)
  • 15g basil leaves(chopped)
  • 4 tbsp olive oil
  • 350g tomatoes (chopped)
  • 140g mozzarella
Time: 35mins.                          Serving: Four

Instructions

1) put some oil in a pan and fry onions for 5 minutes while stirring occasionally. Add garlic and cook until onions change color to brown or golden.. Add tomatoes and half of the basil (7g). Cook for 15 minutes while stirring occasionally.

2) Take water almost full in a larger pan and bring it to boil. Add all of the spaghetti into it. Give it a stir and cook for 10 minutes according to pack instructions.

3) Put the drained pasta into the frying pan, pour sauce over it and give it a good stir. If the sauce looks thick, add some pasta water and if it is watery cook over low heat for a few minutes more.
4) Add mozzarella (in pieces) and remained basil leaves. Give a last good stir and your spaghetti is ready! Serve right away.

Ingredients
  • 250g basmati rice
  • 3-4 pieces of chicken or more if you like
  • 1 1/2 tbsp salt or to taste
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil or ghee
  • 1 1/2 tbsp chili powder
  • 2 tbsp cumin and 2 tbsp coriander
  • Half tbsp ground cinnamon and same amount of turmeric powder
  • Half cup of yogurt or a little more 
  • 3-4 handfuls of raisins
  • 2 1/2 tbsp caster sugar
  • 2 onions( chopped)
  • 2 gingers , grated
  • 5 garlic cloves, chopped finely
  • 7 shallots ( chopped)

Method/ Instructions
  1. Wash rice until the water runs clear, then leave it to soak in tepid water(salt added) for half an hour.
  2. Drain the rice and put it in a pan with enough water (2 cms above the level of rice).
  3. Bring water to boil, then cover and cook for about 10 minutes on low heat or until you witness holes appearing on the top layer of rice.
  4. Heat oil and add shallots,onions and ginger. Fry until the brown colour appears.Take a spoonful from it and keep it aside for garnishing.
  5. Add chicken and cook for about four to five minutes.
  6. Add spices and keep stirring for few minutes. Add yogurt and simmer and stir for 2 minutes. 
  7. Add sugar, raisin and part-cooled rice(place a sheat of cloth under the lid) and cook on low heat for 9-10 minutes.
  8. Remove from heat and let it cool. Serve large spoonfuls garnished with shallots and onion mixture. Coca-cola can add more flavour, so give it a try. Enjoy!

  • Eight pieces of boneless chicken thighs

  • 3/4 tbsp of ground cumin, paprika, turmeric powder,  garlic powder, ground coriander each.

Instruction:

Cut chicken thighs(boneless) into small pieces then add spices, lemon juice and olive then marinate it for atleast three hours. In case, if you don't have enough time, you can bake without marinating.Still delicious!

  1. Mix cumin, turmeric, coriander, paprika, garlic powder and cloves in a small bowl. Keep this aside.
  2. Season chicken thighs with salt on both sides and cut them into small pieces. Now add slices,onions,olive and lemonjuice. Refrigerate for three hours or overnight.
  3. Preheat the oven to 400 degree F and then put the marinated chicken and roast it for 30-32 minutes.
  4. Make 6 pita pockets open them up and add tahini sauce and chicken shawarma. Bravo your shawarma is ready. Serve immediately!

                                   Directions
